The STEAMIE Makerspace, located in West Philadelphia, will be a hub for makers, craftsmen and trade workers to educate the next generation of the workforce. In partnership with Ujima Community Developers, Stuart and Associates Architects, and Harmony In Hue, we developed an initial conceptual design as well as a feasibility study for the new space.

Our goal for the project was to show you how the building is built from the moment you walk in. Exposed structure and systems highlight the vertical circulation, while the rest of the space's materials pay homage to the original 1920s brewery building currently occupying the site.
